Meet Taylor Holmes, Owner of Holmes Media

Meet Taylor Holmes, owner of Holmes Media LLC. She started her photography business 10 years ago and has never looked back!

She took on Holmes Media LLC full-time two years ago, and her business has been flourishing.

“I pride myself on being a photographer that clients/vendors can feel comfortable with, and I work diligently to ensure that my couples have fun,” Taylor says. “It’s so important to me that my couples actually take time to soak in the joy of those beautiful moments.”

She describes her photography style as eclectic, fun and vibrant – and we couldn’t agree more!

“The art, culture, and history of the world around me! When I’m in a creative rut, I take my camera and just go,” Taylor says. “I let it lead me wherever it wants – sometimes outside in nature, other times in the studio trying something new.”

Holmes Media LLC offers three wedding packages for her couples:

The Basics Package includes the ceremony and family/party photos.

The Essentials Package includes eight hours of full wedding day coverage.

The Works Package includes eight hours of wedding coverage and both engagement and bridal/boudoir shoots prior to the wedding day.

“I’m someone who can connect with just about anyone, and I love that about myself,” Taylor says. “I carry this small superpower with me to every shoot and wedding!”

New & Noteworthy: Jamestown Ranch is Expanding!

The Chapel is officially opening at Jamestown Ranch, located in Faulkner County, in 2026. The faith-centered chapel features a traditional, white exterior with a beautiful wooden double-entryway door.

Real Wedding: Emma Nicole Hickok & William Baker Bray Jennings

Emma ArkaNicole Hickok & William Baker Bray Jennings

Nov. 1, 2025 | Horsehead Lake Lodge & Event Center in Clarksville | Makenna Marie Co.

Originally from Texas, Emma and Will met after they both transferred to high school in Hot Springs. They quickly became friends, and towards the end of their junior year, they realized they had developed feelings for one another. They’ve now been together for eight years, and experienced a lot of hardship during their time together–but they had one another to lean on.

“Through all those years, our relationship continued to grow and develop into a love that felt steady and lasting,” Emma said. “It’s crazy to think we may have never crossed paths if we had not applied to ASMSA all those years ago!”

After graduating from college, Will proposed to Emma on a private beach in Cozumel, and they got to celebrate with friends and family later that day.

“It was the perfect way to begin our next chapter together,” Emma said.

Q: What inspired your wedding day?

A: “We were really inspired by the natural beauty of fall in Arkansas, and our venue was the perfect place to appreciate that,” Emma said. “With the lake and mountains surrounding us, it felt natural to lean into a warm fall color palette with rich, earthy tones. Our wedding was on the smaller side with only our closest friends and family, so we wanted everything to feel warm, inviting, and intimate.”

Q: Was there a moment that felt sentimental to you?

A: “My sister gifted me a locket with a picture of him and [me] as a child, and I tied it into my wedding bouquet so he could also walk me down the aisle,” Emma said.

Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?

A: “We had our couples portraits on a dock by the lake, and the scenery was so peaceful,” Emma said. “It was a special time where we got to take it all in before going back to the reception to celebrate with everyone.”

Q: What surprised you about the planning process?

A: “What surprised us the most about wedding planning was how overwhelming social media can be with wedding planning ideas,” Emma said. “There are so many creative ideas out there and it could be easy to get caught up in what everyone says to do or not do for a wedding. We tried our best to go with what represented us as a couple and to make it our own.”

Q: What advice do you have for other brides and grooms?

A: “Our biggest piece of advice for wedding planning is to tune out the noise from social media and others around you who may have differing opinions,” Emma said. “Your wedding day is about you and your partner, and it should feel like it, too. I promise your guests will love it because they are there to celebrate you!”

Q: Favorite moment of the day?

A: “Walking down the aisle and then back up together as newlyweds are moments we’ll never forget,” Emma said. “Seeing each other for the first time during the ceremony was incredibly emotional, and celebrating together as we walked back down the aisle felt just as special and overwhelming in the best way.”

Winning Big

“We went back and forth on whether we wanted to have wedding favors or not, and I am so glad we decided to get them,” Emma said. “We did lottery scratch-offs as our wedding favors for our guests (and none of them were left behind).”

Love Letter to Guests

“We also wrote handwritten notes for all of our guests at the wedding that doubled as their place card,” Emma said. “This was not a small task, but it was so worth it. It was our way of thanking them for being there to celebrate with us and to let them know how much their support meant to us.”

Custom Production Takes Weddings by Storm

Central Arkansas Entertainment has taken the wedding industry by storm for the past few years. Still, Joe Snell, founder and owner, has been a professional in the wedding production game for nearly 20 years. Joe breaks down why production and custom rentals are the cherry on top of making a wedding feel utterly unique.

Q: As a production design company, could you explain exactly what that entails and what services you provide?

A: “Our goal is to set an atmosphere using lighting, custom rentals, activation stations, props and more,” Joe said. “We work alongside planners, clients and business owners to bring their vision to life in a tangible way that creates an unforgettable experience!”

Q: Why should clients consult with you before establishing their event budget?

A: “We love connecting with clients,” Joe said. “When they meet with us before setting a budget, it allows us the opportunity to see their vision and how we can achieve it within that budget.”

Q: Can couples still incorporate personalized, narrative-driven elements and experiences into their wedding celebration despite a limited budget?

A: “Absolutely! Our team here at CAE will walk alongside you to create items that still tell your story while remaining within budget,” Joe said. “We really encourage clients to bring inspiration photos so that we can base the desired look on what we can offer. While it may not be exact, we strive to help you navigate cost & reality while delivering a beautiful finished product.”

Q: In the last 20 years, what changes have you seen made in this industry, good and bad?

A: “This industry has become very transactional in the last 20 years, which can be good and bad,” Joe said. “Here at CAE, we try to be relational first so that the experience is 5 stars and personal to each client. The good part of this industry is that there are still event professionals who have become experts in their field and continue to mentor and raise up the next generation of event professionals. It’s very cool to see.”

Q: How does your company stand out from others?

A: “Our team is a team of dreamers and [has] heart,” Joe said. “They take pride and ownership in every event and ensure the client feels seen and valued!”

Q: What is the typical process or breakdown of steps for a creative collaboration if a visitor came to CAE today?

A: “CAE loves the opportunity to meet with our client base to sit, dream and design for them,” Joe said. “Don’t hesitate to reach out to us to discuss how we can connect and talk through your event’s vision. We promise it will be worth it!”

Real Wedding: Kelli Jenkins & Demetrius Moore

Kelli Jenkins & Demetrius Moore

Oct. 5, 2025 | Osage House in Cave Springs | Miles Witt Boyer

Demetrius and Kelli first met briefly a year before they started dating. He noticed her red hair, and she remembered how handsome he looked in the purple shirt he was wearing. They ran into each other while Kelli was working, but the timing wasn’t right then. About a year later, their paths crossed again, and Demetrius reached out to Kelli. Their story began. Their first official date was at Levi’s Bar in Rogers.

“It almost felt like going on a blind date,” Kelli said. “But the moment we sat down, everything felt relaxed and easy. We connected instantly over music, conversation, and simply being ourselves. That night was when we both realized something special was beginning.”

Their relationship grew quickly. Simple memories, like sitting on the back porch talking for hours, are some of Kelli’s favorites.

“I fell in love with Demetrius very early on,” Kelli said. “There was something about him I admired so much, his smile, his charm, his intellect, and the way he treats people with kindness and generosity. I had never met someone so selfless and genuine.”

Q: What inspired your wedding day?

A: “If I’m being honest, I give a lot of credit to our wedding planner, Christa Wilkins, and our florist, Arloh Floral,” Kelli said. “I was amazed by the creativity they both brought to the table. While I had an idea of wanting a ‘black tie affair’ after seeing inspiration on Pinterest and some of their previous work, they made the decision process incredibly easy and helped bring the entire vision together beautifully.”

Q: When you look back at your wedding, what part of the day sticks out to you the most?

A: “The overwhelming feeling of love in the room,” Kelli said. “Seeing all of our family and friends gathered together to celebrate our relationship was incredibly powerful. It reminded me how lucky we are to have each other and to have so many people supporting our journey. And of course, walking down the aisle and seeing Demetrius waiting for me will always be my number one moment.”

Q: Was there something about your day that felt very unique to you guys?

A: “What made our wedding feel unique was how personal everything was,” Kelli said. “We tried to ensure every detail reflected our journey from the moment we met. From the music and curated playlist to the private moments we shared before the ceremony, everything was thoughtfully chosen. More than anything, having all of our loved ones together in one place made the day unforgettable. It wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of our story and the future we’re excited to build together.”

Q: Did you use Arkansas Bride as inspiration leading up to your big day?

A: “Actually, yes, although not intentionally at first,” Kelli said. “It was the first magazine our wedding planner shared with us after we got engaged. We remember looking through it together and seeing so many beautiful weddings and thinking how special it would be to inspire someone else one day. So, being featured now truly feels like a full-circle moment.”

Q: What surprised you about wedding planning?

A: “You begin reflecting on your relationship, your family and the life you’re about to begin together in ways you may not have before,” Kelli said. “It’s not just about planning an event — it’s about celebrating your story. I was also surprised by how many of our friends and family rearranged their lives to be there for us that day. When the chapel doors opened, and I saw how many people had come to celebrate with us, I felt incredibly loved and supported.”

Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?

A: “One of my favorite moments was our first look and the private vows we shared before the ceremony,” Kelli said. “It was one of the only quiet moments we had together that day, and it allowed us to slow down and truly take in what the moment meant. For a brief time, it felt like the world paused, and it was just the two of us reflecting on our journey and the commitment we were about to make. I could feel so many emotions in that moment, and I could see Demetrius feeling the same way. It’s a memory I replay in my head often and something I’ll cherish forever.”

Q: What inspired your florals?

A: “Our florals were inspired by my love for vibrant color, while still maintaining a sense of simplicity and elegance,” Kelli said. “Working with Arloh Floral was such an amazing experience because she understood exactly how to balance those elements. She created arrangements that felt bold and beautiful while still complementing the timeless and sophisticated atmosphere we wanted for the day.”

Private Vows

“One of my favorite moments was our first look and the private vows we shared before the ceremony,” Kelli said. “It was one of the only quiet moments we had together that day, and it allowed us to slow down and truly take in what the moment meant. For a brief time, it felt like the world paused, and it was just the two of us reflecting on our journey and the commitment we were about to make.”

Family in the Spotlight

“One of the ways we honored our loved ones was through photos displayed at the entrance of the reception hall,” Kelli said. “We included photos of my dad and grandmother, two of Demetrius’s grandparents, and his first cousin, who was like a sister to him. Even though they are no longer with us, we wanted to honor them and feel their presence with us on such an important day.

Real Wedding: Logan McKenzie Burks & Ty Brent Stevens

Logan McKenzie Burks & Ty Brent Stevens

Oct. 11, 2025 | Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville | Erin Wilson Photography

Logan and Ty’s love story begins during their freshman year at the University of Arkansas. Although they knew one another, it took two more years for the two to develop their relationship! When the world was shutting down in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, their friendship quickly blossomed into a romantic relationship marked by the simple joys of raising their beloved dog, Saint, together. After four years, they decided they were ready for the next step.

Ty invited Logan for a walk with him and Saint at their favorite park in April 2024. This park was where they often spent time together, featuring a winding trail, a quiet pond and a dog park. When they arrived at the pond, Ty guided Logan toward a blanket, champagne and a photographer waiting for them.

“In that meaningful spot, surrounded by a landscape filled with shared memories and long walks, he asked me to marry him,” Logan said. “It was heartfelt, personal, and beautifully sentimental.”

Q: When you look back at your wedding, what part of the day sticks out to you the most?

A:“The part that stuck out to me the most was how beautiful the reception area was and how well Amanda Reed’s team made my day come to life so perfectly,” Logan said. “Another part that stuck out to me was seeing how much fun everyone was having following dinner.”

Q: Was there something about your day that felt very unique?

A:“One of the most unique aspects of our day was how the evening evolved, from [the] elegant European-inspired dinner into a lively, high-energy celebration,” Logan said. “We loved creating that contrast, allowing the night to feel both intimate and elevated, then fun and full of energy.”

Q: Why did you decide to go with the vibe of your wedding?

A: “We found much of our inspiration through hours of searching on Instagram and Pinterest, gradually refining a vision that felt true to us,” Logan said. “Once we identified the design elements we loved, the overall layout, color palette, and atmosphere of the day came together naturally.”

Q: Is there an underrated wedding vendor for the big day you recommend to all Arkansas couples?

A: “Our wedding planner was invaluable and in our opinion one of the most important vendors to invest in,” Logan said. “Having someone to manage every detail behind the scenes allowed us to be fully present and enjoy each moment of the day. From coordinating timelines to handling the unexpected, she ensured everything felt seamless and stress-free.”

Saint Takes Center Stage

“Our dog, Saint, was part of the celebration for photos and was even included as a small figurine on our cake,” Logan said. “One of the most special moments was my aunt singing “I Will Be Here,” a song she also sang at my parents’ and my sister’s weddings. It was a moment we will always cherish.”

Pinterest Board Coming to Life

“My favorite part of the planning process was working alongside my mom and growing closer to her during such a special time in my life,” Logan said. “I also loved the creative aspect of designing the reception, from incorporating my favorite colors to selecting chandeliers and abundant floral details that brought the overall vision to life.”

Real Wedding: Lauren Harris & Kendall Ashworth

Real Wedding: Lauren Harris & Kendall Ashworth

Sept. 28, 2025 | TopGolf in Rogers | Max Grubb Photography

Lauren and Kendall are a Hinge match-made-in-Heaven success! They found out they attended the same church, but had been sitting on opposite sides of the worship center.

“We both didn’t love telling people that our story starts out on a dating app, but we both know that God used it to bring us together just at the right time,” Lauren said.

Kendall planned to propose to Lauren on three separate occasions, but life got in the way and he had to pivot every time. On his third try, he decided to keep it simple and propose in her backyard.

“He asked me to come out to the patio, and asked me to sit down next to him on the sofa,” Lauren said. “He then proposed to me at the exact spot he [had] asked me to be his girlfriend.”

A: “The moment we walked into Topgolf and saw how they had transformed it,” Lauren said. “Also, walking out on the course and getting to do our first dance with snow was magical.”

Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?

A: “Right after the ceremony when it was just Kendall and me taking photos,” Lauren said. “There was just something about being in the chapel, and it just being the two of us. Thinking about the covenant we just made to each other and to God. It was quiet and calm.”

Q: What inspired your wedding day looks?

A: “When picking my dress, I wanted something that represented me,” Lauren said. “I didn’t want the traditional dress. I wanted something different. I loved that the fabric of the dress was a net material, and the florals on the sleeves brought in the vibe of our ceremony.”

Q: What was your favorite part of the planning process?

A: “Honestly, I loved that everyone involved was so excited to be a part of making our idea come to life,” Lauren said. “They were so helpful and were excited to see everything come together. I really enjoyed just hearing everyone say this is such a different wedding, and honestly that was our goal from the start.”

“When I saw Amanda’s face after we told her we wanted our reception to be at Topgolf and that the theme … was snow skiing, I knew that we were throwing a curveball at her,” Lauren said. “We loved that this was a new experience for everyone, from our vendors to the guests.”

Real Wedding: Samantha Pugh & Jason King

Samantha Pugh & Jason King

Feb. 14, 2026 | Venue 10 in Maumelle | Raegan Buckley Photography

After her mother’s wedding, Samantha and her best friend, Brynn, continued the celebration at Brewski’s, their local dive bar. Jason had just retired from the NFL and was taking pictures with fans in the bar. Her best friend planned to ask Jason for a picture while introducing Samantha. Within seconds of introduction, Jason asked Samantha if he could buy her a drink and told her she “would have much more fun if she were with him instead of her current date”. Blushing, Samantha declined, and they parted ways. Their immediate connection made it clear they wanted to meet again. Fate brought them back together a few months later at the University of Arkansas versus Texas A&M game.

When COVID-19 struck and the remainder of Samantha’s senior year of college at the UofA was converted to virtual education, she made the trip home to Little Rock. At the time, her mom was undergoing chemotherapy treatments against late-stage ovarian cancer, so she decided to stay at Jason’s house for a while. Despite the closures in Little Rock, Jason and Samantha quickly discovered they enjoyed each other’s company so much that they decided to spend the rest of their lives together. They made things official on New Year’s Eve in 2020, and the countdown to the altar began!

Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?

A: “[We] wish [that we] could relive [our] first look over and over again,” Samantha said. “It felt like so much stress was built up until this moment, then once [we] were able to see each other, all felt right.”

Q: What part of the day sticks out to you the most?

A: “When we looked at each other, whether it was under the chuppah, during our first dance or our private dinner, it was so calming to look each other in the eyes and feel like we were the other people in the room,” Samantha said.

Q: Was there something about your day that felt very unique to you guys?

A: “We loved incorporating Jewish traditions within our wedding ceremony and reception (the chuppah, breaking of the glass, the hora), but most of all we loved honoring those closest to us that couldn’t be there,” Samantha said.

Q: How long was your engagement?

A: “Our engagement ended up being about one year and two months long,” Samantha said. “We immediately hired our planners and found our venue, then hired our photographer soon after.”

Q: What advice do you have for other couples planning their wedding day?

A: “Take as much time as you possibly can to truly soak in the feeling of how many people are there on the biggest day of your life to celebrate and love you,” Samantha said. “Also, it’s about you and your husband/wife. This is not the day to be a people pleaser! At the end of the day, you’ll be married, and that’s all that will ever matter!”

A Day of Love

Jason and Samantha requested florals that paid a loving tribute to Valentine’s Day, featuring a breathtaking majority of pure white roses. Samantha enjoys holidays and finding reasons to celebrate life. When she and Jason realized that Valentine’s Day would be on a Saturday in 2026, they knew it was the right day to tie the knot!

I Did it My Way

After the loss of Samantha’s mom and Jason’s grandfather, she decided to incorporate their two loved ones on their wedding day with a ring. Samantha gifted Jason with a pinkie ring that her mother gave her before she passed, inscribed with “I did it my way.” “[I] gave Jason this pinkie ring in hopes of representing both [my] mother and [his] grandfather being with [us] as [we] said [our] wedding vows to each other,” Samantha said.

Real Wedding: Beatriz Urroz & Jackson Duffy

Real Wedding: Beatriz Urroz & Jackson Duffy

Dec. 6, 2025 | The Ballroom at I Street in Bentonville | Gracie Patterson Photo

Jackson and Beatriz have known each other since they were 14 years old, and met through his cousin and her future Maid of Honor, Maci. When it was time for college, all three chose the same school. They became best friends freshman year and then shared an apartment sophomore year. They unexpectedly caught feelings and started dating in December 2019. Knowing each other so well, they fell in love quickly. Their families and friends claim they saw it long before they did. Beatriz fell in love with Jack on their first Valentine’s Day when he took her to a low-light pollution park in Tennessee to see the stars.

“I remember feeling shocked that someone had remembered how much I talked about the stars and was so intentional with me,” Beatriz said. “I had been falling for him for a while then, but that day sealed the deal for me.”

Jackson remembers the slow, gradual process of falling in love with Beatriz, despite how much he tried to fight his own feelings.

“While I had known her for years, I didn’t really get to know her until freshman year of college,” Jackson said. “What she failed to mention is [that] during that period of my life, I wasn’t exactly the most pleasant person to be around. I was angry a lot and wanted to be left alone. Despite this her and Maci continued to include me (as much as I would allow) and I’m incredibly grateful for it.”

By the time sophomore year in college rolled around, they all decided to live together. Jackson remembers thinking Beatriz was his best friend at the time, and he didn’t want to mess that up. Beatriz finally sat him down and confessed her feelings to him. She was prepared for him to reject her, and actually asked him to do so!

“I paused for a few moments and said, ‘Unfortunately, I don’t think I can tell you that because it would be a lie, ‘ and from there we were off,” Jackson said.

He knew he loved her when he started to realize he could be his completely, unfiltered self around her. He realized he wanted to marry her in one singular moment.

“We often talked about the future and what it might hold, but eventually I reached a point where I could no longer picture the future without her being there,” Jackson said.

Q: What inspired your florals?

A: “Our florals were inspired by the monochromatic red look,” Beatriz said. “We wanted a variation of red colored florals and textures. We decided on bud vases on long tables, to give the vibe of a big family dinner. We had red candles everywhere, which really set the vibe and had more elaborate floral pieces at the bar and our couples’ table.”

Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?

A: “The moment I wish to relive over and over again is seeing my husband dance all night,” Beatriz said. “He is goofy at home with me in private, but never in this whole planning process did I expect him to dance in front of other people because he is very introverted … It was the best moment of my life!”

Q: Was there something about your day that felt very unique to you guys?

A: “Jack took my last name,” Beatriz said. “It was a big decision to make, but ultimately it was what felt most right for both of us. My heritage and my family are incredibly important to me, I didn’t want to lose that when traditionally I would take my husband’s last name. I think I have always known I want to keep my last name, but wasn’t sure if my future partner would be okay with that, and it felt like a dream to find a man who would be willing to take mine.”

Q: What was your favorite part of the planning process?

A: “Jack’s favorite part of the planning process was getting to decide where our ceremony would be,” Beatriz said. “We both wanted to have it somewhere that felt as special and magical as our love felt. When we walked into Mildred B. Cooper Chapel, we were stunned with its architectural beauty and knew that’s where we wanted to get married.”

Q: Is there an underrated wedding vendor for the big day you recommend to all Arkansas couples?

A: “While we loved all of our vendors, our underrated wedding vendor, [whom] we would recommend a million times to anyone who will listen, is Gracie Patterson, our photographer,” Beatriz said. “She absolutely killed it, from making my very introverted husband comfortable being photographed to understanding my vision and aesthetic for the photos I wanted. She was a dream to work with!”

Monochromatic Magic

“Our reception vibe was speakeasy inspired, with big band classics played throughout dinner,” Beatriz said. “My favorite colors are black and red, so it all felt very right when I kept getting drawn to the all-red look. Red has always felt very romantic and bold, so we thought it was the perfect color choice for us. I had never really seen an all-monochromatic red wedding, and when I saw it, I was obsessed!”

Something Old, Borrowed, New and Blue

At their rehearsal dinner, Beatriz’s maids of honor curated gifts for her to honor the age-old wedding tradition. Jackson’s grandmother gifted Beatriz with her something old, his grandfather’s handkerchief. His aunt gifted an emerald ring as her something borrowed. Her mother gifted her a Pandora bracelet for her something new, and her mother-in-law gave her a blue ring from her grandmother as her something blue.

Real Wedding: Anna Grace Harris & Jackson Gregory Hackney

Anna Grace Harris & Jackson Gregory Hackney

Oct. 25, 2025 | Buckshot Duck Lodge in Gillett | Erin Wilson Photography

Grace and Jackson met in Stuttgart in November 2020 during Thanksgiving break. Grace was home from college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and Jackson was on a duck hunt with friends. Hunter, Grace’s brother, had worked as a duck hunting guide for Jackson’s family for years, so they were great friends. Her mom had cooked breakfast for everyone after they returned from their hunt, and this was the moment Grace locked eyes with Jackson. With Grace in Northwest Arkansas and Jackson playing college baseball in Hot Springs, the two stayed connected after that moment and began dating in April 2021.

Three years later, in December 2024, Jack decided he was ready to pop the question to Grace. Before going out to dinner, Jack took Grace to the farm to “check on things.” After he got out of the truck, he asked her to step out, too, and got down on one knee right there in the middle of the farm. His brother, Ben, was hiding in the brush, taking photos of the special moment. Afterwards, they celebrate with family and friends at Buckshot Duck Lodge!

Q: What inspired your wedding day decor?

A: “From the beginning, Jack and I knew we wanted our wedding day to be in two of our favorite places, our church in Gillett and Buckshot Duck Lodge,” Grace said. “For the reception, we wanted to build on the warmth of the lodge and extend [it] to the space outdoors.”

Q: Did you incorporate anything sentimental?

A: “I carried a handmade, hand-stitched handkerchief using fabric and lace from my mother’s wedding gown,” Grace said. “It was designed and sewn by Diane Knox. I [also] wore vintage pearl earrings…Given to me by Jack’s paternal Grandmother, Sherry Hackney.”

Q: What inspired your wedding day look?

A: “After I found my gown, mom shared a picture with me from the [Arkansas Bride] issue,” Grace said. “She had marked the page, [and] it was a full page photograph of my gown.”

Symphony of Sentiment

Grace and Jackson incorporated numerous small, unique details throughout their wedding day. Sentimental touches included Jackson’s cousin officiating the ceremony and their paternal grandmothers providing the prelude music. Grace also honored her paternal grandmother by wearing a custom diamond and sapphire bracelet that had been left to her, and vintage pearl earrings given to her by Jackson’s paternal grandmother.

Hands-Off Bride

“My favorite part of the planning was [that] I didn’t really have to plan,” Grace said. “It’s funny, I just wanted a “fun and pretty wedding”. I shared ideas and thoughts with my mom and Shawna. They had the vendors in place to bring my ideas to life.”

Q: When you look back at your wedding, what part of the day sticks out to you the most?

A: “One part of the day that really stands out was the private moment Lawson and I had right after the ceremony,” Anna said. “We were able to step away for a few minutes, talk together, eat a little food, and sign our marriage license.”

Q: Was there something about your day that felt very unique?

A: “Having so many custom pieces made by Cache River Mill & Metalworks,” Anna said. “The stage for the band, bar carts with mosaics, the wedding arbor, planters, bars, and many other customized pieces.”

Q: What advice do you have for other couples planning their wedding day?

A: “My advice to other couples planning their wedding would be to try not to get too caught up in every little detail and instead focus on the blessing of celebrating your marriage with the people you love,” Anna said. “The day goes by so fast, so take moments to slow down and be present with each other. Also, try to build in a little time for just the two of you during the day!”

Reception from the Past

“Having my brother, Sam Jeffrey, officiate the wedding was uniquely special for Lawson and me,” Anna said. “We were also excited to have our reception at the same place where my parents had theirs in 1994, which made the day feel extra special to me.”
