Faith Harlin & Jaxon Britt
Dec. 13, 2025 | The Grand at Willow Springs in Prairie Grove | Miles Witt Boyer
Faith and Jaxon have known one another for a long time. She was friends with his brother, and Jaxon would often tag along with them when they were hanging out. They started dating when Faith was a senior in high school, and they worried about long distance when she was ready to move to Fayetteville for college.
“Jaxon always jokes that the summer before I left for college, he planned to make me fall in love with him, as corny as that sounds,” Faith said. “Apparently, it worked, because I was devastated when it was time to move away. We ended up making long-distance work until he later moved to the University of Arkansas.”

Eight years later, they tied the knot at The Grand at Willow Springs with their friends and family there to celebrate!

Q: What inspired your wedding day?
A: “While it may sound basic, I actually drew a lot of inspiration from ‘Twilight,’ especially when it came to the florals,” Faith said. “I’ve always loved the romantic, slightly whimsical look, and it became a beautiful starting point for the overall aesthetic.”

Q: Did you incorporate anything sentimental?
A: “I wore my great-grandma’s ring, which is something every woman in my family has worn on her wedding day,” Faith said. “It’s a really special tradition in our family, and it meant so much to be able to continue it. She actually passed away shortly before our wedding, so wearing her ring felt even more meaningful. It was a small way to feel like she was still with me on such an important day.”

Q: What surprised you about wedding planning?
A: “One thing that really surprised me about wedding planning was how important the timeline is. I had no idea just how much the entire day depends on a well-planned schedule,” Faith said. “From the moment we arrived at 7:30 a.m. until the end of the night around 11 p.m., every single vendor knew exactly where they needed to be and what they needed to do. Everything flowed so smoothly because of that planning. Seeing the day come together so seamlessly really showed me how much work goes on behind the scenes to make a wedding day feel effortless.”

Q: When you look back at your wedding, what part of the day sticks out to you the most?
A: “When I look back on our wedding day, what stands out the most is the time we spent surrounded by our friends and family,” Faith said. “Having all of the people we love in one place made the entire day feel incredibly special. Working with my mom, Miles, and Amanda made both the planning process and the wedding day so special. I had so much fun planning everything with my mom and getting to spend that time together. I’m also incredibly thankful for the friends Jaxon and I surround ourselves with. They brought so much joy and energy to the day and made us feel so loved and celebrated.”

“Lonesome Dove”
“We grew up watching ‘Lonesome Dove’ together, and it’s always been something special we shared,” Faith said. “Our amazing cellist learned how to play the theme song from [the movie], and that’s what played as my dad walked me down the aisle. It made the moment incredibly meaningful for both of us.”

Passing of the Ring
“One unique thing we did during our ceremony was a ring warming,” Faith said. “We passed our wedding rings around to our wedding party and close family members so they could each hold them for a moment, say a quick prayer, or wish us well before the ceremony continued. By the time the rings made their way back to us, they had been held and blessed by so many of the people who mean the most to us.”
