GRETCHEN LARKAN EVENTS INSPIRED BY FRED WILSON
Fred Wilson began experimenting with Murano glass in 2003 when he created “Speak of Me as I Am” Chandelier Mori when he represented the United States at the 50th Venice Biennale. Most of Wilson’s chandeliers are a mediation on death, blackness and beauty. Inspired by Wilson’s famous “To Die Upon a Kiss” Chandelier, Gretchen Larkan Events created a gorgeous ombre white-to-black tablescape with tall, crystal candle holders. This moody tablescape is perfect for the modern, anti-bride aesthetic looking for something different and a bit darker for a wedding.
Watercolors by Korry Jones created this stunning watercolor of Wilson’s “To Die Upon a Kiss” Chandelier, and we’re absolutely obsessed!
