Cosmetic Cover-ups
Q: Several years ago I got a small tattoo on my upper back. I plan to wear a strapless wedding gown and don’t want the tattoo to show. What is the best way to cover it? — Anonymous
A: A product named Dermablend is the most effective way to cover tattoos, scars or birthmarks, according to makeup expert Debi Johnson at Preston’s Salon and Spa in Sherwood. The thick matte foundation can be purchased to match your skin tone and is available at major department stores including Dillard’s. To avoid staining your dress, you should also pat the area with Dermablend setting powder. Cost is about $28 for 1 ounce of the cream and $19 for the powder.
Limousine Services
Q: Can you recommend a limo service? Our wedding is in Arkadelphia, and we are spending that night in Hot Springs. — Autumn DeLaughter
A: There are a number of limousine companies that offer statewide service. Some are located in Little Rock and will charge for the total travel time, while others have offices across the state.
We found four that offer service from Arkadelphia to Hot Springs. Be sure to ask if you will be charged for the travel time from Little Rock and back:
