Molly Kate Fuller & James Patrick Cady II
June 1, 2025 | Bella Terra Estate in Cabot | Raegan Buckley Photography
Molly Kate and James’s story starts in second grade. Molly Kate had just moved to Pulaski Academy, and James wasn’t a fan of her. To be fair, Molly Kate was a self-proclaimed “attention hog” when she was younger. Over the years, they shared several classes, and they finally reunited in seventh-grade pre-algebra, sitting next to each other. They quickly became friends, and that friendship grew into something more!
During halftime at a Pulaski Academy game, James finally asked Molly Kate to be his girlfriend. They’ve been together ever since and have shared many ups and downs along the way.
“Our love grew with time and age to be what it is today,” Molly Kate said. “The time we have been together has not been easy or perfect, but we would both agree that every second has been more than worth it.”

Q&A
Q: What inspired your wedding day decor?
A: “I have always been a girl who loves color and country vibes,” Molly Kate said. “Those two are hard to marry, since color can go towards preppy and country can go towards rustic, but we made it work.”
Q: What was one of your favorite moments of the day?
A: “The Cady Creamery,” Molly Kate said. “Instead of cake, we [had] an ice cream bar with Loblolly Ice Cream flavors made uniquely to us! We don’t love cake, but we do love ice cream!”
Q: What sentimental details did you incorporate?
A: “[My] engagement ring is actually [my] mother’s first ring repurposed, [and I] found out that [my] parents never [had] a first dance at their wedding, so [I] planned a time for [them] to do a first dance together.”
Q: What was your process while planning your wedding?
A: “I had always imagined my wedding as a little girl,” Molly Kate said. “To be honest, I wanted my wedding to be uniquely mine, so I tried as hard as I could to make decisions that I knew were explicitly me and not influenced by what is popular.”

Heritage
To honor her parents, Molly Kate hosted their rehearsal dinner in the same barn where her parents tied the knot. Not only did they get married there, but they also built their family home close by to the venue!

Heirloom Pearls
James’ grandmother, Shirley Cady, gifted a pearl necklace that she had worn herself for several decades to Molly Kate the previous Christmas, and she wore the string of pearls on the wedding day to honor Shirley.
