Sarah Ellen Bell & Keegan Walker Fowler

Even though Sarah had a feeling something was coming, the moment was still just as magical and unforgettable for both of them. “My mom had me stand by the beautiful balloon arch to take pictures, and the next thing I knew, Keegan was down on one knee holding a ring!” Sarah said.
Sarah and Keegan’s love story began in November 2019 when she was working her first X-ray student job at the same place where Keegan picked up lab specimens. After a few friendly exchanges, Sarah decided to slide into his DMs on Twitter—and the rest is history.
For the proposal, Keegan planned a huge party for Sarah’s 27th birthday, inviting family and friends to celebrate what she thought was just a birthday bash. “I did think it was a little suspicious that he invited everyone we knew,” Sarah said. “I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better proposal or a better group of people to celebrate the engagement with!”

Q&A
Q: What inspired your wedding day looks?
A: “My wedding day looks were inspired by a few different things! I knew I wanted to incorporate my mom’s wedding dress because I was obsessed with all the lace detailing on it,” Sarah said. “ I felt like my dress needed something extra so I ended up finding some beautiful lace sleeves that tied the entire look together.”
Q: Why did you decide to go with the vibe of your wedding?
A: “I actually found a picture of a bouquet of flowers and immediately knew that was the vibe,” Sarah said. “Our colors were oranges, yellows, & pinks. We wanted our guests to feel the same vibe they get from looking at a beautiful summer sunset.”
Q: When you look back at your wedding, what part of the day sticks out to you the most?
A: “Our first dance! I couldn’t help but look around and feel so blessed and full of love for Keegan, our family, and friends,” Sarah said.

Family Wedding Vendors
“Once I had my color scheme, I instantly hit up my future brother-in-law and owner of Bearded Bouquet, Zach Jones, and we got to work!” Sarah said. “My florals were also inspired by a sunset, same as the vibe.”
‘Til Death
“We actually did a themed rehearsal dinner! The theme was Till Death Do Us Part,” Sarah said. “We had our wedding party and family come dressed in black in mourning of our last night ‘single’ while I wore my mom’s wedding dress.”
