Cerah Andréa Robinson & Logan Alan Hays
October 5, 2025 | Private Estate in Roland | Julia Stroud Photography
Cerah and Logan’s story began at the University of Arkansas in the fall of 2016 after a biology lab on respiration. Caught in the rain and facing a long walk back to her sorority house, Cerah gladly accepted a ride from Logan, who had conveniently (and maybe illegally) parked nearby.
As his Jeep rolled along, Spotify shuffled to Mason Jennings’ “Butterfly,” and the two instantly bonded over their love for music. When they arrived, Logan nicely opened her broken passenger door with a bow and a playful “M’lady,” a gesture that, according to Cerah, sealed the deal.
They’ve been together since St. Patrick’s Day in 2017, traveling thousands of miles and visiting 17 national parks. On May 24, 2022, during a hike in Yosemite, Logan proposed at the top of the Turtleback Dome overlooking the valley.
Cerah agreed, then surprised him by proposing back with a grass ring, which was later preserved in epoxy for his wedding band.

Q&A
Q: What inspired your wedding day look?
A: “We loved the idea of an intimate setting that was personal to us/our relationship,” Cerah said. “We wanted to create a space that showcased the landscape’s natural beauty, with a laid-back, welcoming vibe that made you want to stay a while—and with the help of our amazing wedding planner, we were able to do just that!”
Q: Is there an underrated wedding vendor you recommend to all Arkansas Couples?
A: “This day could not have happened without our wedding planner, Leslie Carter from Bella Baxter,” Cerah said. “We had her for the first wedding date before it was postponed, and she picked right back up where we started when we were ready to start planning again.”
Q: When you look back at your wedding, what part of the day sticks out to you the most?
A: “Seeing people from all walks of both of our lives all together in one place visiting and enjoying each other’s company,” Cerah said. “It was surreal to see everyone together!”

Reminiscing in Roland
“Everything we chose was to accentuate and enhance the natural landscaping,” Cerah said. “We knew we wanted a beautiful centerpiece in our tent above our dance floor, but besides that, we mainly wanted the florals to blend in with the surroundings and the season.”

“Having two of our closest friends officiate the wedding, along with having it at Logan’s Dad’s house,” Cerah said. “It made everything feel very personal and unique.”
