Gabbie Anne Ware & John Brayden Wilson
May 17, 2025 | Lynn’s Landing In Wynne | Ryanne Odonnell Photography
Gabbie and Brayden met through mutual friends four years ago, and right from the start, it felt like they were destined to be together. They first went out to dinner with a group of friends, and that night marked the beginning of their love story
“That same weekend, he invited me on a ski trip, and we had the absolute best weekend!” Gabbie said. “From that point on, we were inseparable.” It was clear they had found something special—two soulmates whose bond only grew stronger each day.
The lovely couple got engaged on the beautiful island of Barbados. Brayden was insisting on taking a few photos before they sat down to dinner and drinks. “He proposed at the front of the resort!” Gabbie said. “I was so surprised, I had no idea he had anything planned! We were both so happy.”
Gabbie and Brayden spent the rest of the week celebrating their engagement and a future full of love.

Q&A
Q: What was your favorite part of the planning process?
A: “Picking out my wedding dress! I don’t even know if you’d consider that part of the planning, but it was a time I’ll never forget!” Gabbie said. “I went to Maggie Louise with my mom and a few friends, and it was everything I had ever dreamed of. It felt so surreal actually putting on gowns and knowing that in no time you’ll be walking down the aisle!”
Q: Is there an underrated wedding vendor for the big day you recommend to all Arkansas couples?
A: “An underrated wedding vendor that is a must in my opinion is the DJ!” Gabbie said. “Aside from putting on a party, he’s the reason all guests know where to go and what’s going on at all times! Because of him, there was no need for us to worry about everyone getting ready to eat or headed to the dance floor!”
Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?
A: “I could never pick out just a single moment from our wedding that I love the most, but I wish we could relive the day every day,” Gabbie said. “The day goes by so fast, we both have said we wish we could go back and slow down and just enjoy the chaos again!”
Q: What surprised you about wedding planning?
A: “I honestly expected to be super stressed about wedding planning, but it isn’t nearly as bad as what I thought it would be,” Gabbie said. “At the end of the day you won’t look back and wish you’d planned anything differently! It’s your day just for you!”

A Bride Looking to the Future
“I liked a little bit of everything,” Gabbie said. “I wanted [our wedding] to be super simple, chic and modern. I wanted to be able to look back 20 years from now and not have any regrets, so we went timeless!”

The Best Day Ever
“I wish we could relive the day every day,” Gabbie said. “The day goes by so fast, we both have said we wish we could go back and slow down and just enjoy the chaos again! It’s such a sweet day, and it truly may be the only time every single person that you both love [will] all [be] in one place, celebrating you two!”
