UPDATE: Bridal Cottage Will Continue to Provide Customer Care Despite Accident

As we previously reported on the blog, The Bridal Cottage in North Little Rock was seriously damaged when a dumptruck crashed into its storefront after colliding with an SUV.

We just got word from the owner, Vikki Farrer, that The Bridal Cottage has found a temporary new home at 3225 JFK Blvd., two doors down from its original location.

Vikki told Arkansas Bride that the new location is not completely open for browsing, as they had to order all new sample dresses and have only received seven since the accident.

Current Bridal Cottage brides: Have no fear. All existing dress orders have been re-routed to the new location and fittings will continue to take place there for the next two to three months during the rebuilding process.

Feel free to contact The Bridal Cottage at (501) 753-4138 if you have questions about you order.

The Bridal Cottage was the victim of a disasterous car crash this morning when a dumptruck collided with a SUV. The collision resulted in two buildings, one of which was the beloved Bridal Cottage showroom, being seriously damaged.

Bridal Cottage owner Vikki Farrer told KARK Channel 4 news that she was … “A little shaken right now because being inside a building and having it collapse on you instantly was pretty dramatic.” Read their full story here.

Bridal Cottage released this formal statement today:

As the dust settles at The Bridal Cottage in North Little Rock, one thing is for sure: The store’s reputation for resiliency and impeccable customer service will be maintained.

“My initial fear was for my employees and those involved in the accident,” stated Vikki Farrer, owner of the Bridal Cottage. “Once I knew everyone inside the building was safe, the focus became the needs of our clients.”

While a temporary address is not yet being released, clients can be certain that previously purchased merchandise has been retrieved from the store and moved to a secure location. Also, gowns on special order for clients have been re-routed to another address so deliveries will not be interrupted. The Bridal Cottage will be moving to a temporary location, which will be announced in the forthcoming days.

“The Bridal Cottage prides itself on impeccable quality and customer service. Clients can be assured that even in this difficult time we will do the best we can to insure everyone is provided the absolute best for their wedding or special occasion,” Farrer said.
