Raise your hand if you’re a food lover like we are.
All of you? Ok, we thought so.
In our April Showers series, we covered everything from themes to fashion. Now we want to talk about the sweet union of two of our favorite things: bridal showers and fantastic restaurants. We love, LOVE the idea of mixing the two into a can’t-lose combo.
Your girls, gifts and an incredible meal that you didn’t have to lift a finger to prepare? Um, yes, please.
The hard part is trying to figure out where to go. That’s why we decided to round up some of our fave spots across the state for you to check out. Whether you’re looking for brunch, drinks or sweets, we’ve got you covered.
One Eleven at the Capital – Little Rock
After a complete renovation in 2014, One Eleven has become one of the places to be in the capital city, especially for brunch. Sleek, refined and absolutely stunning, you’ll find the food mirrors the elegance of the venue.
Heirloom Food & Wine – Rogers
White chocolate panna cotta, breakfast tacos, rich coffee and mimosas are only a few of the treats waiting for you at this organic savvy spot. Even better news? They have a killer patio. Score.
Belle Arti Italian Ristorante – Hot Springs
As part of the historical bathhouse district, Belle Arti has been a staple in the Spa City for years. Their homemade pastas are a must for all Italian food lovers. Bella Arti also offers two event spaces: one that is completely private, and one that overlooks the restaurant and allows you to still feel like part of the space.
YaYa’s Euro Bistro – Little Rock
Yaya’s has always been one of our favorite brunch spots. With the recent addition of a banquet room, the expansion has enough room for all of your girls. Delicious and wide open spaces? Call all your dixie chicks. You have plans.
Bordinos – Fayetteville
This Dickson Street hot spot is a definite go-to for date night, but it’s every bit as fabulous in the daylight hours. In case you’re not convinced, they also offer $5 featured cocktails and wine by the glass all day Friday and Saturday.
Mud St. Café – Eureka Springs
Not only is Mud Street one of the most charming restaurants around, but it’s also a local favorite, receiving high praise and awards year after year. If you think of yourself as a coffee connoisseur, get thee to Mud Street. (Their brunch menu is pretty stellar, too!)
Afterthought Bistro and Bar – Little Rock
This cute little bistro is nestled right in the heart of Hillcrest, one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods. If you’re looking for a laid back atmosphere with live music and tasty treats, head for the Hill(crest).
