Sydni Rebstock & Jennings Stanley Jr.
November 2, 2024 | Jonesboro Country Club Indoor Tennis Center | Lela & Lyla
Sydni and Jennings met during their time at Arkansas State University. Jennings graduated from A-State after spending four years on the football team in 2020, and Sydni graduated in May 2021. While looking for a date for her last formal with Chi O, a mutual friend connected her with Jennings.
“Jennings said yes to being my date, but he decided it would be a good idea for us to get to know each other before formal,” Sydni said. “We went on our first date at Skinny J’s in Jonesboro shortly thereafter! We both had so much fun, leading to more dates and quickly realized that we loved spending time with each other.”
The two made their relationship official in April 2021, right before Sydni’s graduation. In August of that year, Jennings moved to Little Rock to begin law school, so they spent the majority of their relationship long-distance!
“We spent the last three years burning up Interstate 67 between Jonesboro and Little Rock, squeezing every second we could out of our weekend trips,” Sydni said. “We’ve made many wonderful memories over those three years.”
On November 3, 2023, Jennings popped the question to Sydni at the Jonesboro Country Club, where they would eventually tie the knot a year later!

Q&A
Q: What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?
A: “My favorite part of the planning process was seeing everything start to come together at the end,” Sydni said. “There is nothing like finally seeing your vision come to life. With choosing the JCC Tennis Center for our reception, it was sometimes hard to imagine what it would all look like transformed. It was truly amazing seeing all the months of planning and hard work for the first time as Jennings and I made our way to the dance floor to get our reception started. It for sure made all of the planning worth it to see how beautiful it turned out!”
Q: What inspired your florals?
A: “We went with florals that complimented the chinoiserie vases and the grand millennial vibe,” Sydni said. “Blue hydrangeas and white roses were my must haves! Blossoms, our florist vendor, did an amazing job taking that and creating something so beautiful by adding white snapdragons, blue delphinium, Italian ruscus and variegated pittosporum to make fresh vibrant beautiful arrangements!”
Q: Did you incorporate anything sentimental on your wedding day?
A: “We did a few things that were very special and sentimental to us,” Sydni said. “We spend a lot of time at the golf course, and Jennings proposed there, so we decided to do golf balls with our wedding crest on them and custom tees for our party favors! My wedding band was made from a ring that his great-grandmother left for the family. Getting married in the church was really important to both of us, as well, as Jennings parents and sister were married in the same church!”
Q: What moment of the day do you wish you could relive over and over again?
A: “Our first look,” Sydni said. “Getting to finally see Jennings for the first time that day and for him to finally see my dress was so special! The hardest secret!! Our wedding photographer, Anja of Lela & Lyla, gave us a few minutes just to be with each other and that allowed us to slow down for a second, soak it all in, and talk about our perfect wedding day. It’s easy to get lost in all the craziness that goes on during your big day, so I am grateful our photographer gave us this time to have with one another—even if it was for just a few minutes!”
Tied the Knot (With a Bow!)
“For my wedding dress, I knew I was set on two things—something that was timeless and a dress with a bow,” Sydni said. “When I tried my dress on at Low’s Bridal, I just knew that it was the one. The long beautiful removable train was just the cherry on top of everything I imagined my dream gown would be!”
Grandmillennial
“We went with florals that complimented the chinoiserie vases and the grandmillennial vibe,” Sydni said. “Blue hydrangeas and white roses were my must haves!”
