Morgan Nelson & Logan Camp

Morgan and Logan met at Elevation, a college ministry church held at the New Life Church in Conway. She was invited by her best friend, whose fiancé was also friends with Logan. The four friends began spending time together, where Morgan and Logan’s friendship turned into something more.
“We both realized [we were meant for one another] at the same time,” Morgan said. “We were on a beach trip with his family. We had moved our beach chairs down to the shore and were just simply sitting there reading while the sun was setting.”
When Logan proposed, he had a whole day planned for Morgan. He invited her to lunch in Little Rock, where they would then spend the day walking around Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. This was a tell-tale sign to Morgan, as the couple had never spent any time together at a museum.
“I see my parents car and his parents car and I start getting so excited but have to play it cool,” Morgan said. “…I see a gazebo that overlooks water with rose petals and candles. It looked perfect. I don’t remember a single word he said when he was on one knee, I was so excited.”
Morgan’s best friend from Michigan had driven all the way down for the proposal to surprise her. They celebrated with their close friends and families in Conway that night, and the two began planning their dream wedding day.

Q&A
Q: What was your favorite moment of the day?
A: “Surprisingly, walking down the aisle was my favorite part,” Morgan said. “I don’t love being the center of attention or all eyes being on me, so I was shocked this was my favorite part of the day. I thought it was so sweet seeing all the people I loved in one place celebrating us.”
Q: Is there a personalized detail you’d like to share?
A: “Logan and I have a huge sweet tooth,” Morgan said. “On our first date, we ended the night at an ice cream store. On our wedding day, I wanted to surprise him with something so we brought in Honeybean Ice Cream truck. I got to choose the flavors and even make one of my own, was one of the best things of the night!”
Q: What was wedding dress shopping like?
A: “My mom and I went to Low’s Bridal,” Morgan said. “Dress shopping was so fun, but very overwhelming at first. There are so many dresses at Low’s, but the girl who helped us was amazing. I originally thought I wanted a tighter, simple-looking dress. But I ended up getting the complete opposite and I fell in love with it when I tried it on.”
Pinning & Planning
“My mom and I had a shared Pinterest board with a bunch of different things,” Morgan said. “We got our inspo there, but also wanted to do something that fit me. She was a big part of the planning process as well, and am so grateful for her.”
She’s Like a Rainbow
“My color palette was bright and full of color,” Morgan said. “I chose my palette because I wanted something fun and that would look cute. Pink is my favorite color and I knew the orange and green would bring it all together.”
