BAILEY WHITTINGTON & WILLIAM POLLOCK
Oct. 22, 2022 | Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and Country Club of Little Rock | Meredith Benton Photography
Bailey and William met in 2019 through mutual friends at the University of Arkansas. William proposed in November 2021. He told Bailey they were going to a work happy hour and dinner and when she got to his house, William wanted her to look at the outdoor furniture he had rearranged. Bailey went outside and found a table set up with champagne, and William got down on one knee!
Bailey knew she wanted a live band for their wedding reception, and she loves the trend of the band making an entrance with the bride and groom because it gets the guests excited for the party. They hired Grooveline Dallas to help bring this vision to life, and the band turned out to be a guest favorite.
“I have continuously heard that everyone enjoyed the band,” Bailey said. “They were very upbeat and so nice to work with!”

Q & A
Q: What was your most worth-it wedding splurge?
A: “Being someone who likes to plan, I was hesitant to spend on a wedding planner,” Bailey said. “Anne Claire and her team are worth every penny, and having a planner allowed me to be calm, present and truly enjoy our weekend.”
Q: Was there a moment when you realized everything fell into place just as you wanted?
A: “I think it is important to take a step back and look at the bigger picture,” Bailey said. “At the end of the day, you get to marry the love of your life, and what’s more perfect than that?!”
Q: You surprised William at the reception. Were there any unexpected details you loved?
A: “William surprised me with the most beautiful pearl earrings during our first look and they are so special to me!”
Q: Tell us about your wedding party!
A: “We both had 13 bridesmaids and groomsmen. The girls wore a halter black dress that tied in a bow around the neck. I sent them all a candle with our initials and custom matches,” Bailey said. “William gave his groomsmen custom golf head covers. Our wedding party is so special to us and represents many different seasons of our life!”
FAVORITE DETAILS
Bailey knew she wanted mostly white flowers with pops of blue, and the team at Tipton & Hurst curated the perfect arrangements. They also created the trees that surrounded the dance floor, which was Bailey’s favorite detail from the day.
WEDDING ADVICE
“Enjoy it and don’t take it too seriously!”
MOMENTS & MEMORIES
Bailey’s favorite moments included the few minutes she got to spend with her dad before walking down the aisle and surprising her groom with props at the reception. “Williams’ one request for the wedding was to have top hats as the reception prop,” Bailey said. “When they came out on the dance floor, I loved seeing his eyes light up!”
