Hannah Browning & Koby Long

Moss Mountain Farm
Hannah and Koby’s love story began back in high school, while checking on their steers at a livestock show in Waco, Texas. Separated by 382 miles, Hannah, from Bremond, Texas, and Koby, a Wellington, Texas native, decided to remain long-distance friends. They saw each other only a few times a year at livestock shows, but would occasionally have “dates” on Skype. Two years later, they made their relationship official when the duo could finally drive. Seven years after they met, Koby surprised Hannah with their perfect home, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. When they went inside, Koby dropped to one knee and asked Hannah if she would serve the Lord with him for the rest of their lives.
The Inspiration
Hannah was inspired by her time studying abroad in Tuscania, Italy, to create an intimate wedding with a touch of luxury. They found both at Moss Mountain Farm. Following the Italian style, guests sat together as family along two long farm tables and were given sachets of lavender seeds to take home. And of course, they made sure to have lasagna and cannoli.

How They Customized
The personal touches began with the wedding ceremony, where Hannah and Koby recited their own vows. They also had an acoustic musician sing during the ceremony.
Décor was kept to a minimum to allow the natural beauty of Moss Mountain Farm shine. Bridesmaid bouquets were used as centerpieces along with minimal tabletop flowers. They continued the simplicity with the cake, adding only a little greenery.
Hannah’s dress was also customizable. She wore the detachable train for pictures and the ceremony and removed it for the reception, giving her a variety of looks with one dress.
With only 80 guests, the Hannah and Koby were able to spend time with everyone; an important aspect with many guests coming from other states. They used intentional dinner seating to place guests where they felt they would truly connect with others—another nod to the Italian theme.
