Being forgetful isn‘t normally life changing, but in 2012, it almost cost Cathy Boose of Marvell and Nicholas Baugh of Jacksonville, Florida, a relationship. The two had agreed to be set up by a mutual friend, but the friend forgot to set up the date. Luckily, the friend suddenly remembered, and from then on, the two were inseparable.

Three years later, Nick decided to trick Cathy into thinking they were going car shopping. To her surprise, they wound up at The Old Mill in North Little Rock instead, and that’s where he asked her to be his wife.

The Inspiration

When Cathy and Nick began to make plans for their wedding, one image kept coming to mind: a Grecian goddess. Following this inspiration, the couple created a lavish space with bright whites and golds framed with lush fabrics and columns.

How They Customized

For the reception, the couple designed a special newlywed table with luxe, overflowing florals and throne-like chairs to symbolize treating each other like royalty in their relationship. Continuing in the elaborate details, guests indulged in a seven-layer cake while Cathy sported three different dresses throughout the event.
