When THV 11’s morning news anchor Alyse Eady was a freshman at Ouachita Baptist University, she used to swoon over a certain baseball player in his uniform. Finally, the man in the uniform — Patrick Lemmond of Dallas — approached her and the couple has been together ever since. They got engaged in the privacy of Alyse’s home, with Patrick down on one knee, a heartfelt letter in hand and their Siberian Husky “Ranger” howling in the background.
