Drs. Paige Onyuru and Ryan Strebeck met in undergrad at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia before starting medical school together at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

After years of dating, and upon completing their medical licensing exams, the two took a well-deserved vacation to a beach resort in Mexico where Ryan popped the question.
Paige is from Hot Springs, so it was a no-brainer that they’d get married there. But being in the midst of medical school and finishing their residency applications, the couple was feeling the pressure. They enlisted the help of Hot Springs wedding guru, Randi Slick, who helped navigate the couple through the planning process.
For her big day, Paige was inspired by the current greenery trend with different shades of dusty blue and navy. The only décor added to Garvan Garden’s beautiful Anthony Chapel was a cascading arrangement of greenery, hydrangeas, roses and anemones.
The couple chose to have their reception at the Hamp Williams Building. Paige is typically drawn more to clean, white venues, but the industrial style of the Hamp sparked her interest. They filled the reception with a mixture of tall and low arrangements, pops of blue and romantic candlelight.
