When Chris Rittelmeyer of Little Rock refused to stop for cupcakes while he and Booneville native Kalee Beason were headed to the golf course, she wasn’t pleased. They were running behind and he needed to pick up a club at his place on the way.

Little did Kalee know that already waiting for her inside Chris’ place was a batch of cupcakes, except these read “Will you marry me?” and were alongside a beautiful ring anticipating her “yes.” The couple celebrated with friends and family, but never did make it to the golf course.

The Inspiration

All Kalee had to do was see St. Catherine’s and it all made sense. Choosing to go with the natural beauty and flow of the venue, they went with greens, yellows, corals and oranges to compliment their surroundings. Succulents, lanterns and plenty of florals helped make the day even more magical.

The Details

A true Southern hostess, through and through, Kalee wanted to make sure every guest was more than comfortable and enjoyed their time at the wedding. Welcome baskets included her mother’s homemade popcorn mix and bread from local Ranalli Farms. Their love of sugar reined supreme with lots of cupcakes (of course!) and a candy buffet bar.
