Elizabeth Irsik & Jacob Sullivan

An unforgettable Fourth of July fireworks finale proposal for Beth Irsik from St. Joseph, Missouri, and Jacob Sullivan from Shelbyville, Illinois, ignited plans for what would eventually be an equally memorable wedding. But there would be no red, white and blue color story for Beth’s big day. Instead, Beth wanted a soft, vintage feel. Blush pinks, shades of lavender and pops of gold transformed the space into a garden party complete with sparkles and Depression glass family antiques.
A lover of all things shiny and fashionable, Beth decided on single-serve champagne bottles and stemless flutes as guest favors, and even sported two dresses and three pairs of shoes. The festivities wouldn’t have been complete without the true stars of the day: Sophie and Matilda, the couple’s English Bulldogs. They made an appearance at the reception both in person and in statue form in the centerpieces.
