OLIVIA AND ANDREW met at a mutual friend’s wedding in 2016, but they didn’t start dating until May 2018.

Andrew proposed on Feb. 28, 2020: his birthday. He said that since they were early for a concert they were about to go to, he wanted to take their daughter Anna to walk by the river. When they turned the corner, there was an arch with beautiful pink roses everywhere by the riverfront. He asked Olivia to marry him, and they celebrated at Sonny Williams’ Steak Room with their family and friends.

HOW THEY CUSTOMIZED

Olivia and Andrew worked with planner Anne-Claire Allen to bring their big day to life. They said their “I do’s” in the First Baptist Church of Dumas, where Olivia had been attending church for all of her life.

With COVID-19 restrictions freshly lifted, Olivia and Andrew had more than 400 people in attendance. Their reception took place at The Delta at Silverside Outdoors. The hunting and skeet shooting lodge was completely transformed into a dreamy wedding venue.

Olivia knew she wanted a timeless and elegant wedding with lots and lots of flowers, and Silks-A-Bloom made her biggest wish for a hanging floral display above the dance floor come true.

“She trusted our team of vendors and allowed us to take her original dreams and run with it,” Anne-Claire Allen says. “By combining what she loved and expanding on it, we created a truly special event!”

When Olivia tried on the Amsale wedding dress, she instantly fell in love, but it was missing something. When the bow was added on the back, everyone started crying, and she knew it was perfect: timeless, classy, elegant, and so her. She found the perfect all-white dresses for her bridesmaids and flower girl at Bella Bridesmaids.

“I loved how different the dance floor was with the floral pattern and how it matched the invitation envelope liner.

I loved, loved, loved my cake. I wanted lots of florals on my cake and at the base, and that’s just what I got. It was breathtaking,” Olivia says.
