Who are you?
-
My name is Jillian Moore and I am the owner of Raindrop Flowers in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
How would you describe your style?
- Romantic. Whimsical. Lovely. My creative path has been non-linear. I’ve had so many different paths, all a bit unconventional yet my style has always been modern yet whimsical. I like to think of each bouquet or arrangement as a way to express myself, like any other artist. I want to bring a distinct edge to Fort Smith, Arkansas and I believe I am doing that with my style.
-
Raindrop strives to make the better place by creating lush and beautiful arrangements for all of life’s wonderful celebrations. We believe in treating each other with kindness while creating art with flowers.
-
I pride myself in custom designs that carefully consider each client’s vision. From even the smallest order of a bouquet to a large scale wedding, I want each person to be able to smile and have happiness and excitement enter them, just as flowers have done for me my whole life.
- Besides the groom, I believe that the bride’s choice of flowers are the sweetest and most romantic decision she can make for her day. Raindrop strives to bring the couple’s vision to fruition and bring a tear to the eye when seeing what we’ve created for big day!
-
People’s reactions. Smelling and touching the flowers. This industry is a tough one, but also a healing one. It all helps me during my own personal journal and mental health. I have the sweetest clients and it makes it worth any long day or aching back to see them smile and love it so much that they share it on their Instagram or Facebook. Also, I also love collaborating with Anne Marie Photography for styled shoots. I love doing installs and I think that is where I really shine. She is so creative and good at what she does. It’s like we feed off of each other’s ideas and energies and it always turns out so lovely.

I started my business in June of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. I am quite proud of that. The challenges include transportation issues and stock shortages. On the other hand, I really believe that during the pandemic people have realized how much flowers can mean to each other. Starting Raindrop during such a challenging time has helped me as a florist because I have learned how to handle a lot of stress and be flexible so that I can give my clients what looks best.

I believe that knowing the passion I have for flowers is an important thing to know about me and my company. Raindrop has helped me during a bout of depression and anxiety and I believe that passion translates into my work. It is my true creative outlet. I owe my love of flowers to my mom. Every flower will always remind me of her. So to answer the question- passion. That’s what I’d like them to know about me.
