Give your guests a taste of Arkansas with catering from The Root Cafe! The Root Cafe is a unique farm-to-table restaurant located in the SoMa neighborhood of downtown Little Rock. Our Head Chef Jonathan Arrington specializes in sourcing local ingredients to create meals pleasing to every palate or dietary need. Through our mission of building community through local food, we reflect the best of what the Natural State has to offer! We firmly believe that our food is so delicious because we source absolutely as much as we can from small farms and producers here in Arkansas. This includes 100% of the meat, eggs, and bread we serve, as well as the majority of our vegetables, fruits, nuts, and cheeses. In fact, 77% of our food and beverage cost is locally sourced, ranking The Root in the top half of 1% for farm-to-table restaurants nationwide. Our menu will show off food grown and produced right here in our state, bringing a sense of place to your event that is uniquely Arkansas! We can provide anything you need for your big day, including: • Sit-down dinner service • Casual appetizers • Food for as few as 15 people or as many as 600! • Servers & bartenders • Connections with our wine, beer & liquor distributors • Menu cards (which highlight our local providers & ingredients) • Connections with local rental companies.
