Pine Bluff-natives Rachel Anderson and Brandon Rushing have set their wedding date for Aug. 4 at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
“Brandon and I have been friends since high school. A couple of years after I graduated he asked me on a date. On Oct. 29, 2011, Brandon asked me if I wanted to go to Hot Springs to pick up a picture of the stadium. We are diehard Razorback fans! So off to Hot Springs we went. He pretended to be lost in downtown Hot Springs and asked me to stay in the truck while he asked for directions. He came back and said it was just around the corner. As we rounded the corner there sat a horse and carriage. I was in total shock! We went for a stroll through down town and on the way back he got down on one knee and at that moment I knew I was the happiest girl alive! Of course, I said yes!” said Rachel.
