ROGERS, ARKANSAS โ Since 1987, Blakemanโs Fine Jewelry has been a household name as the premier jewelry experience in Northwest Arkansas. The family-owned-and-operated business came from humble beginnings, as the story goes, with Don Blakeman originally accepting inventory at his home, and organizing it on a card table in his basement, before opening a store in the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

In 1987, Don and Lynn Blakeman opened Blakemanโs Fine Jewelry. The goal was to build a family business and to be able to spend a lot of time with their family. Working for decades together, and alongside their two sons, Josh and Ben, Don and Lynn accomplished just that and more.
Blakemanโs Fine Jewelry has become the premier jewelry experience in Northwest Arkansas. Today, President Ben Blakeman leads the expansion of the familyโs flagship store and its business services, including design, production and product offerings.
After 18 years in that location, Blakeman made the bold move to Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers, before Embassy Suites or any other commercial retailers were there, and built the current 7,500-SF store. Nearly 20 years later, a major expansion is underway.
Always a family business, Don and wife, Lynn, have worked together for decades, with sons, Josh and Ben, eventually coming aboard. President Ben Blakeman says the expansion is something he has pushed for โsince joining the company 15 years ago.โ
โWe are committed to providing an elevated experience to Northwest Arkansas,โ Ben says. โThe beauty and elegance of the new space will be unlike anything in our area.โ
During construction, there will be little to no interruption to service or product lines, with the introduction of Blakemanโs Pop Up, a temporary home away from home for the business and its loyal customers. Curated by creative directors Anna E. Cottrell and Alex Bodishbaugh, the space is an artful retrospective that reflects the history of the Blakemanโs brand and serves as an inspiring entryway into where the brand is going.
โThe idea for the pop-up,โ Ben says, โwas to take this opportunity we have in transition and growth, and be there for our community while offering a unique concept and a way to engage with our brand.โ
The pop-up is an immersive sage green showroom that is both modern and nostalgic, calling to mind avocado green for those of a certain generation, and, though spacious, it feels warm and inviting, like when everyone at a party somehow ends up standing around in the kitchen.
Located across from the flagship store, the space opened with an intimate preview party for friends and family on March 19 and an official grand opening March 30. And, knowing Ben, there will be plenty of Blakemanโs Prosecco chilled and ready to be poured. Follow @blakemansfinejewelry on Instagram for the latest updates on the pop-up and flagship expansion.
