Northwest Arkansas residents Linda Bird of Haughton, La. and Rustin Green of Greenville, Texas are set to tie the knot Aug. 10 at Hill Country Village in Shreveport, La. Nicole Dale of Trinity Ridge Photography sent us these engagement shots, as well as Linda and Rustin’s love story:
One week before the couple’s fourth dating anniversary, Linda’s parents came to Fayetteville to run the Hogeye half marathon and attend an Arkansas vs. LSU baseball game to cheer for the Hogs, of course! Pior to these exciting activities, Linda thought she convinced everyone to tour Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Little did she know that Rustin pre-planned their trip with her parents and merely convinced her that it was her idea.
After arriving at the museum, the four set out on a short nature walk through the tulip trees. The trail ended at a beautiful cedar pavilion. Here, Rustin got down on one knee and asked Linda if she would marry him (after mentioning he had, in fact, already gotten her parent’s approval). She of course said yes!
Per Rustin’s sneaky plans, Linda’s parents were able to both view and record this very special moment!
