Ashley White and Christopher Sweeney of Alma, Arkansas are engaged to be married.
Ashley, who currently lives in Van Buren, and Christopher (still in Alma) plan to say “I do!’ May 15, 2012 at the New Life Church.
Here’s what Ashley shared about their love story:
“Chris and I met on a blind date set up by his younger sister. At the time of our first date, Chris was working and living in Little Rock. After a few months, Chris decided to move back to the area to be closer to me. In September, Chris took me to a local jewelry store and let me create my very own engagement ring, I honestly felt like I was dreaming. The one thing that I made Chris do was formally ask me to marry him. On Sept. 24, Chris took me to Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Rogers and, of course, I said YES!”
