For all of our soon-to-be-newlyweds in northwest Arkansas, have we got news for you! There’s a new event venue nestled right into the center of the Fayetteville Square, and it’s nothing short of fabulous.
Meet The Old Post Office. It was built in 1911 and is is on the National Register of Historic Places. That means it’s chock-full of all kinds of historical charm and character!
Back in December, the team opened the newly renovated basement for events, complete with an outdoor patio and a 25-foot bar. The space accommodates up to 200 people, with the patio offering an additional 100 guests.
One of the best parts about The OPO is the freedom you have to create your dream wedding, reception or party. There are no restrictions on caterers or vendors, meaning you can bring in whoever you want. You can also decorate the space however you want, just as long as the space is cleaned up and damage-free when you leave.
Their current weeknight rate is $1,000, and the weekend rate is $2,000. Plus, when you book a weekend, you get access to the space for two whole days, which should give you plenty of flexibility in setting up and tearing down.
