Little Rock resident Brooke Lefler and Josh Ludford of Memphis, Tenn., will exchange wedding vows at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altus, Ark. on May 31, 2014.

Josh proposed to me on March 28, 2013, a simple Thursday afternoon. We had planned a small weekend trip to get away from daily life and relax in Hot Springs. He took me to Garvan Woodland Gardens and we hiked around for a few hours taking in the beautiful scenery. We were heading back to the entrance to leave, and we passed by the tulip fields one more time. He took me on a path that ended in the middle of a field, surrounded by colorful tulips. Then, he got on one knee and proposed! I was so surprised!
