Frances Penick and David Mitchell have set their wedding date for July 21. The couple will have their ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock.
Frances and David have known each other their entire lives.
“Our mothers were friends before we were born, and we happened to be born three days apart next door to each other in the hospital. We grew up together, attended elementary, junior high, and high school together. We dated briefly senior year of high school and then went separate ways in college. I went to the University of Georgia and David went to Washington & Lee in Virginia. After college, we both ended up back in Arkansas where we started dating again. After three years of dating, David proposed the night before Thanksgiving. We are both so excited to be getting married!” Frances said.
