Jonesboro natives Sarah DeHart and Nick Culpepper – both now Memphis residents – are engaged to be married June 8 at the Cooper Alumni Center on the Arkansas State University campus in their hometown. Check out these romantic engagement shots by Megan Clemence Photography!
We went to the same high school and knew several of the same people, but we never knew each other until my sophomore year at the University of Arkansas! Seems pretty crazy right?! I blame it on our age — he is three years older than me.
We met and within two weeks of dating we decided to start a long-distance relationship. Within a month we said those wonderful three words: “I love you.” We have been together now for almost three years and the first two we lived five hours apart. It was hard work at times, but with lots of visits and sharing our sweet puppy (Miss Molly) we stayed close and in love. Once I graduated college in May I moved to Memphis where Nick is currently in his last year of dental school at UT. He will graduate exactly one week before we get married! We are both so excited for the next few months and cannot wait to be Mr. and Mrs. Culpepper.
