J. Crew, known for quality cashmere, sweaters, women’s dresses and shoes, men’s shirts and ties, accessories and children’s clothing and even contemporary bride and bridesmaids dresses, is open at The Promenade at Chenal, 17711 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock.
The store, which started in 1983 with a catalog and opened its first store in 1989 in New York’s South Street Seaport, is part of a national operation that includes retail and outlet stores and online and catalog sales.
Store hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Shoppers will receive a free gift with a purchase of $150 or more. For more information click here.

The Promenade at Chenal is having a great 2011, as prominent retailers continue to open new stores there. The Apple Store opened late last month to great fanfare. And we now know the opening date for the Nike Factory Store: Oct. 11.
After that, you can expect women’s fashion hub W by Azwell and Kenneth Edwards Fine Jewelers to mark their debuts in late October or early November.
