Instagram Roundup: New York Bridal Fashion Week 2017

New York Bridal Fashion Week 2017 has come and gone, but we’re still swooning over the beautiful batch of bridal fashions. Thanks to our fashion insider, Lindsey Stavely and her team at Tesori Bridal and Formal, we were able to share some behind-the-scenes looks of top bridal designers like Hayley Paige, Allure Bridals and Enzoani.

We chatted with Lindsey after her trip to catch up on her fashion week experience:

Q: What was your favorite show of the week?
A: My favorite show of the week was by far Hayley Paige. You never know what to expect and she always gives you something better than you could come up with yourself!!

Q: Did you get starstruck seeing any of your favorite designers?
A:
We got a 2 second “Hi Hayley” when we were walking into the showroom but didn’t get the chance to talk as she’s a busy little lady. It’s always so fun seeing her. She’s very down-to-earth and gives off such a positive vibe.

Q: What fashion trends surprised you? What trends are you loving?
A: We saw a lot of rose quartz and what we call alabaster (which is a grey-ish purple) and baroque style beading. Something we saw a little bit last year was 3-D florals, but it came back again for Spring 2017 in a major way.

Q: Best moment of your time in New York City?
A:
Honestly, just getting to spend time with my fellow co-owner, Erin, and bridal consultant, Carley. We may work together but at the end of the day we’re all very close and enjoy getting to be around one another. [It was] such an experience getting to travel and work together in the best city in the world. We try to make the best of our time between working and exploring and make sure to have just a little fun while we’re there.

Big thanks to the Tesori team for giving us the inside look at NYBFW ’17!
