When I took over as editor of Arkansas Bride in January 2011, I decided I really wanted to bring some things to the magazine that I felt were really important to you:

Hence our bridal blog. We created it so you don’t have to wait six months between issues for more wedding decor ideas, real weddings and expert advice – and so you can win more freebies from us besides our two annual $1,000 honeymoon airfare giveaways.
More Real Weddings.
Let’s face it. That’s where some of the best ideas are and they’re just so much fun. For my first issue as editor, we upped the ante to six, but that still wasn’t enough. For this issue I chose 10 real weddings to feature! We hope you love them and are inspired by them all!
More pretty.
I love looking at pretty things. I don’t know why exactly; I just enjoy it. And I know you do too. So we went all out for this issue, especially on the cover. It’s my favorite Arkansas Bride cover of all time. Kori, our cover model and a real Arkansas bride, was amazing! So was her sidekick Kaleb.

Look for our fingerprint throughout this issue. We’re trying to make your life easier with tips for being featured in the next issue and with little editor’s notes pinpointing our favorites in our revamped Photographer Favorites section.
