Hot Springs-natives, Melissa Holliday and Justin Barker are engaged.
Although the couple resides in Garland, Texas, they will return to Arkansas to wed April 22, 2012.
They’ll exchange vows at the Old Mill Wedding Chapel in their home town. Blackall Photography of Lewisville, Texas took their engagement photos.
Here’s what the bride had to say about her love story:
“We met at Skateland Skating Rink in junior high and have been friends since. Two years ago, I came to visit Justin in the Dallas area. We both felt the same spark and started to date long distance. Around a year later, I moved to the Dallas area to be with him. The following summer, he proposed to me after an outdoor concert! I am planning to use one of the acoustic songs from the concert in our ceremony.”
