Beginning Thursday, Sept. 15, those of you with food sensitivities will have a new bakery that creates delicious gluten-free and specialty products – Dempsey Bakery – located at 4th and Cross Streets in downtown Little Rock.
Everything at Dempsey’s is made with meticulous care by baker Scott Wilkins. Breads, cakes for various occassions (including weddings), pies, cookies and more will be on the bakery menu.
“You don’t have to tell them no!” said owner Paula Dempsey. “If you are like my family and have members with food sensitivities, expect to say yes to delicious, delightful bakery goods and sweets that are gluten free, soy free and nut free. You’ll find our baked goods are moist, flavorful and a delight to the eye.”
A full product line will be available by the time of the Grand Opening on Oct. 13, but until then the bakery will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday with a limited menu.
