April is here and all month-long, we’re highlighting something that comes before every wedding: the wedding shower. Every week, we will focus on a different aspect of that special party with awesome tips and tricks to make the party a hit! Here is what you can expect each week on the blog, Facebook page and Instagram (be sure to ‘Like’ us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram!):
- Week 1: Invitations– a look at cool invitations ideas and tips on when to send them out, how to collect RSVPs and more.
- Week 2: Decor– get inspired with small-budget decorating ideas, themes and even decorations that the bride can use in the home after the shower!
- Week 3: Food– spice things up with delicious hors ‘douevre recipes and special cake and dessert ideas.
- Week 4: Games– keep the fun going with entertaining games to get everyone at the party involved.
- Week 5: Gifts– the party is usually all about the gifts, so we will highlight cute DIY gift ideas, as well as unique and sentimental presents if you’re not using the bride-and-groom’s registry.

Here is a rundown of what you should include with your shower submission:
- 4-6 high-resolution photos
- photographer name
- bride and groom’s full names and where they both live
- location and date of shower
- theme
- host’s name
