The day he proposed, he was so nervous. Looking back on it now, it was adorable, though. He took me to my favorite restaurant, Rolando’s, in Fort Smith. Right before he asked me, he handed me his phone then “went to the bathroom.” On his phone was a text between him and my mom asking for my hand in marriage. After I read the text, I turned around thinking I would see him walking out of the bathroom but instead he was on his knee with the ring out. With a mouth full food, I said yes.
