Anne-Elise Hawkins and Brad Parker are getting hitched!! The two lovebirds have set the date for March 18, 2017 at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, with a reception following at Anne-Elise’s family home in Little Rock. We’re loving their sweet engagement session by Kati Mallory Photo & Design.
Here’s their engagement story in Anne-Elise’s own words:
“I was flying to Argentina for two weeks to work on a Habitat for Humanity build. All the while, Brad began plotting. He drove two hours to our family farm to speak with my dad and ask for my hand in marriage. As July 11th (my arrival date) got closer, I got more and more excited. [After landing] I began walking toward the exit and saw him running towards me with a bouquet of my favorite flowers. I dropped my bag and ran towards him. He then pulled out a Ring Pop and I laughed because he has always joked that he was going to propose with one. I teasingly thanked him for the Ring Pop and put it on. Then he said he had one more thing for me. He reached into the bottom of the Ring Pop bag and pulled out a diamond ring — my great-grandmother’s diamond ring. The words “I love you” and “Will you…” came from his mouth, but I didn’t let him get another word out as I dropped to my knees with him. It was the best moment of my life.”
Congrats, lovebirds!
