Our Spring/Summer 2012 issue of Arkansas Bride has been on stands since December, but since there are so many newly engaged couples just joining us now, we wanted to catch you up on the latest issue and tell you about what’s coming up in about a month in our Fall/Winter 2012 issue!
The current magazine is our big “Color Issue” in which we feature:

When I took over as editor of Arkansas Bride in January 2011, I decided I really wanted to bring some things to the magazine that I felt were really important to you:
More everything, more often.
Hence our bridal blog. We created it so you don’t have to wait six months between issues for more wedding decor ideas, real weddings, engagements and expert advice – and so you can win more freebies (besides just our two annual $1,000 honeymoon airfare giveaways).
More Real Weddings.
Let’s face it. That’s where some of the best ideas are and they’re just so much fun. For my first issue as editor, we upped the ante to six, but that still wasn’t enough. For this issue we chose 10 real weddings to feature! Our next issue will have an EVEN BETTER REAL WEDDINGS SECTION!!!
More pretty.
I love looking at pretty things. I don’t know why exactly; I just enjoy it. And I know you do too. So we went all out for this issue, especially on the cover. It’s my favorite Arkansas Bride cover so far. Still, we’ve already shot the cover for our Fall/Winter issue and it’s AMAZING too. Totally different, but totally amazing. For now, it remains top secret though…
More us.
Look for our fingerprint throughout the color issue and in the upcoming one. We’re trying to make your life easier with tips for being featured in the next issue and with little editor’s notes pinpointing our favorites in our revamped Photographer Favorites section. I also revealed our new online E-Newsletter (which you can sign up for now) on the What’s New on ArkansasBride.com page. We send it out monthly to brides still planning and another one to all our friends and fans to help, to inspire, and to simply just have fun.

Yes, you! We’re featuring more of your weddings, even if we can’t share the whole thing, throughout the magazine. We feature real weddings, your great ideas, your couple portraits and beyond. You’ve got to read the whole magazine cover to cover to see if you’re wedding is in there somewhere! In the color issue, be sure to check out the 15 Fun Ideas Your Guests Will Love and our Photographer Favorites section. Lots of REAL Arkansas brides’ ideas featured.
