Central Arkansas couple Lynsey Terhune of Cabot & Brian Vognet of Austin are engaged. They’ve set the date for June 12 at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. The couple resides in Cabot.
Here’s what the bride-to-be had to say about her groom-to-be:
“Brian took me out on the boat at Greers Ferry Lake, one of our favorite places to go in the summertime. We decided to climb Sugar Loaf Mountain, which sits in the middle of the lake. Brian told me if I made it to the top I would get my birthday present early. After about an hour we finally made it to the top. I asked for a camera for my birthday, but to my surprise he pulled out a little yellow box. [In the box was] my ring with the diamond my late grandmother had passed down to me.”
