London and Brad met in college through a mutual friend, started dating, and the rest is history!
In June 2019, Brad popped the question on Mt. Sequoyah as the couple looked out on the sun setting over Fayetteville. “The way the light hit the ring as he opened the box was so beautiful,” London said. “I was totally shocked! He did such a good job surprising me!”
London planned the wedding herself and had spreadsheets on top of spreadsheets filled with every detail to make the couples big day perfect. When looking for a venue, London was not interested in an outdoor setting. Once she stepped into the Ballroom in Bentonville and out onto the courtyard…her mind was made up.
“I never wanted an outdoor wedding but I completely changed my mind once I saw it,” London said. “The light outside during our ceremony was perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day. I loved the all-white ballroom. It felt very glam and that was exactly what I wanted!”
Their engagement lasted 5 months and the couple was finally wed on November 1, 2019. The courtyard was candle-lit and decorated with beautiful flowers thanks to Kim Fielding.
on the bridesmaid’s dresses: “I knew what color I wanted, so I searched in stores but finally found a style online that had lace sleeves that was complimentary to my dress.”
on the dress: “I always knew I wanted long sleeves, so I went in looking for styles with sleeves. I actually chose the first dress I tried on! I did try on several during my appointment but ended up going back to the first one that caught my eye.”
on the venue: “The moment I saw those giant chandeliers in the ballroom, I knew it was my perfect venue. Then I walked outside and saw the beautiful courtyard and knew that was the perfect ceremony spot. I never wanted an outdoor wedding but I completely changed my mind once I saw it! The light outside during our ceremony was perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day.”
on the cake: “I liked simplicity when it came to the cake décor. I had a vision with a floral hoop and didn’t want the cake to compete with that vision.”
on the florals: “I honestly had the flowers of my dreams!! My florist Kim is a mutual friend of my moms and she knocked it out of the park! I mean, everything from my bouquet, the tablescapes, and the arbor outside during our ceremony blew me away!”
on the first dance: “Then by Brad Paisley was our first dance song. I didn’t really want a country song, but the words were so meaningful to both of us we thought it was perfect!”
on the last dance: ” As our guests were leaving the venue to get ready for our send-off, we stayed inside the ballroom and had the place all to ourselves to enjoy one last dance. The day was so fun, but when it was just the two of us left, everything started to sink in. As we were dancing, Brad said, “This is the best day of my life. I love you so much.” and I burst into happy tears as it hit me that we were married and it was the beginning of forever with him. It was perfect!”
