What an exciting year for weddings in Arkansas! As the world re-opened, the bridal industry exploded as couples were finally able to put their long awaited wedding planning into action.
This year saw some of the biggest blowouts when it came to blooms. We featured what seemed like an endless array of Arkansas weddings complete with breathtaking flowers. Here are a handful of our favorites from our features in print and online in 2021. Which is your fave?
OUR FAVE FLORALS
Two-in-One
We loved this wonderful two-part wedding, with florals from two of our favorite flower vendors, Kelly Efird Floral Events AND Vase and Vine. The soft romance of these delicate flowers for Kyndalle and Ty’s twice as nice wedding. The outdoor pampas grass on the rustic ceremony arch were particularly beautiful at The Grandeur House in Little Rock.
Gorgeous Garden
Samantha’s Garden brought a charming garden party flair to the wedding of Ashton Rail and Samuel Herrington. We can’t get over the vivid colors and romantic décor. It makes us feel so cheery — and has us ready for spring!
Best of Burgundy
We love Fall in Fayetteville, and this Meus Floral wedding of fabulous fall and pretty pink florals had us right there. Blush, burgundy, cream and champagne tones carried throughout the beautiful floral arches and aisle in Claire and Scott’s wedding décor. For their reception, they chose luxe velvets and fall florals to lend an intimate and comfortable feeling to the chilly October evening.
Berry Beautiful
We’re head over heels for Rachel and Cain’s fruit and wine color combo, and the dazzling bouquets by Silks-A-Bloom. And can we talk about those tablescapes? What a wonderful way to tie the whole wedding together!
Summertime Sweetness
Samantha’s Garden outdid themselves with these summery floral elements at Elise and Jacob’s wedding. We’re talking about the playful pinks, soft yellows and sunset oranges all across the bouquets, tables, ceremony and overhead display.
SPRING/SUMMER SNEAK PEEKS
We’re too excited not to share some of our favorite weddings from 2021, which will be featured in our upcoming issue of Arkansas Bride! Keep your eyes peeled for the release of our Summer/Spring 2022 edition, Jan. 3!
Romantic Rehearsal Dinner
Tipton & Hurst wowed us with this wonderful rehearsal dinner spread. With the help of JoBeth McElhanon of Lilias & Olive, they were able to plan an elevated, stylish and fun rehearsal dinner at the Sunset Lodge at Rusty Tractor Vineyards in Little Rock for Kirby and Walker. The goal was to bring the feel of the vineyard indoors, with Tuscan and California Wine Country touches throughout the décor.
Va Va Voom!
Vase and Vine spared no expense when it came to outfitting the wedding of Gabby, the owner’s daughter, at The Venue at Oakdale in North Little Rock.
Bohemian Bash
These dainty, dried florals brought bohemian glam to all aspects of the wedding of Megan and Noah. The dried blooms were the star of the show, and Samantha’s Garden show us all how it’s the little touches that matter most.
Outstanding Orchids
What a wonderful idea, centering the entire floral design around one wonderful flower! Orchids were the star of the show at Natalie and Davis’ Walton Arts Center wedding. With two different patterns of monochromatic magic, Zuzu’s Petals worked wonders across the entire wedding.
INSTAGRAM EXTRAS
While we didn’t feature these wonderful weddings on our blog or in print, we wanted to extend a special nod to our impressive Instagram audience. Our online vendors and photographers captured some of prettiest flowers we’ve ever seen.
