Sarah Henkel of Little Rock and Nicholas Volgas of Bartlett, Tenn. — both current residents of Little Rock — are engaged to be married on Nov. 10 at the Marlsgate Plantation in Scott. Read how they met in their own words:
“Nick and I met while attending undergrad at Rhodes College in Memphis. We were with mutual friends at a local jazz club, and he was ‘attempting’ to dance. He was so happy, cute and enthusiastic, I couldn’t help but dance with him! Nick and I were in different graduating classes and after graduating in 2010, I moved back to Little Rock for pharmacy school. After spending one year apart, Nick moved to Little Rock after graduation and accepted a job at Arkansas Information Network. He proposed just before last Christmas and we are having a blast wedding planning!”
