Arkansas Engagement: Jennifer Bradley of Cabot & Jeremy Furstenberg of Paris

Cabot native Jennifer Bradley and Jeremy Furstenberg of Paris are engaged to be married July 26, 2013, at St. Anthony’s on the Creek. The couple, who currently live in northwest Arkansas, sent us Jeremy’s creative way of proposing. We can’t wait to see the wedding photos!

I was convinced that I would know the day Jeremy was going to propose and he was determined I wouldn’t. It was a typical Sunday — we went to church and were planning on meeting friends for lunch afterward. Our friends coincidentally were running late, so Jeremy drove me up to the University of Arkansas campus to see my name on the Senior Walk.

I was confused when he parked far away from where my name was engraved and even more confused when he refused to drive around closer. I thought he was just being stubborn and caved in walking with him up to Old Main. Once we reached the top, he surprised me, got down on one knee and proposed! I was in such shock, that I don’t remember a thing he said, but I somehow managed to say “YES!” He even had a photographer there to capture it all in pictures. I cannot wait to marry my best friend!
