Cameron Coffey and William Van Patten of Little Rock will exchange vows on July 26, 2014 at the University Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.

I had flown home to Dallas to visit family for the weekend and Will had dropped me off at the airport and was spending the weekend in Little Rock cheering on our Hogs– or so I thought! On Saturday morning, my dad had to pick a friend up at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and we were going to grab a bite to eat at my favorite restaurant afterward. An hour-and-a-half passes and my dad comes walking into my room making “small talk”. Ready to get some Tex-Mex, I start to walk out my bedroom door and rose petals are covering the floor with the engagement ring opened up on the ground. My eyes began to tear up and all I could keep saying is “Is Will here?” Will walks down the staircase in his suit and tie and proposed right in front of my dad. It was the perfect surprise and something we will always be able to treasure.
