Around the office, the Arkansas Bride girls have talked for a while about getting new headshots taken for our various roles.
Personally, I’ve never enjoyed running an editor’s letter picture unless it was a candid or action shot, so I really wanted something new and fun I’d like being printed and shared with 90,000 Arkansans across the state. Actually more, since I’ll be using the new shot in all of my magazines … so the pressure was on to get one taken that I liked.
Then, we stumbled upon some gorgeous glam session pictures on Meredith Melody Photography‘s Facebook and website. Gorgeous GLAM portraits in which the women looked so happy and relaxed, and most importantly confident! We knew we had to get some of our own. Fortunately, Meredith happily accepted the challenge of a full day of hair, makeup and shooting six staffers needing to change outfits three to four times each.
Sam, Betsy, Rachel, Brandy, Michelle and I had a BLAST!

PS: Makeup artist Cassie Francioni really did a beautiful job. She’s so sweet and enjoyable to sit with and get beautified.
