Jordan Hood is saying โI doโ to a new adventure, ready to lead Lowโs Bridal into its new chapter as sole owner.
Owning Lowโs Bridal was never something Jordan Hood thought could happen to her. The famous bridal store had been a Low/Prince family legacy for nearly half a centuryโuntil 2024. When Dorcus Low Prince was ready to step away as the sole owner, she had no doubts about the one person she could trust to carry on the tradition.
โWhen the Lowโs family was ready to retire, they called meโand the rest is history,โ Jordan said. โI am very thankful and honored to carry on this incredible business. To sum it up in a classic clichรฉ: right place, right time.โ
Jordan Hood has worn many hats throughout her career but has always kept one foot in the bridal world. A graduate of Parsons, The New School of Design in New York, she pursued her passion for textile arts and fashion. Over the last 15 years, she has worked across industries, from womenโs retail markets to tech startups, specializing in digital marketing and small business development. With her deep experience in marketing, entrepreneurship and even wedding photography, Dorcus knew Jordan was the perfect choice to take the reins.
โThere are so many incredible aspects of this business that I am excited to continue,โ Jordan said. โOne of the things that I am honored to do is take care of the employees that support this business. There are few opportunities for women working to support their families in this region. I look forward to continuing to support them and this community.โ
With over 2,500 gowns ready to be tried on, Jordan is eager to welcome every bride who walks through Lowโs doorsโsharing in their joy as they find the dress of their dreams. While the storeโs legacy remains, a new chapter begins, filled with fresh ideas, timeless elegance and the same heartfelt commitment to every brideโs special moment.
