#1 – Get a manicure: I’ve so been there. My hubby’s surprise proposal came on a night when my nail polish was good and chipped. I couldn’t wait to show off my ring, but my nails looked somewhat sad given the joyous occasion.
#2 – Insure your ring. Seriously. Do this. If not right away, then do it as soon as you move in together (add it to your rental insurance or home insurance as a rider).
