ALEXIS WHITE & WILL SULLIVAN
August 5, 2023 | Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art | Bentonville | Raegan Buckley Photography
Alexis and Will met during their sophomore year of college at the University of Arkansas. As the two graduated from college, moved to Dallas and adopted their first puppy together – they realized there was nothing they couldn’t do as long as they had one another.
“Looking back, it became clear that we were destined for each other,” Alexis said. “It was during the challenges of college and navigating post-graduate life in Dallas that we truly solidified our bond…it [became] evident that we wanted to build a lifetime of memories side by side.”
Will proposed to Alexis at the same beach they took their first vacation together back in college. He could barely get the words out before Alexis started crying, realizing what was happening.
“He set up a picnic and photographer then took me to our favorite restaurant in Rosemary Beach. It was everything I could have imagined.

Q & A
Q: What inspired your color palette?
A: “I love the true bridal white,” Alexis said. “ I wanted to keep the classic, timeless theme with our color palette and also incorporate a modern feel to it, which is why I used a lot of mirrors and acrylic in our details.”
Q: What was your favorite moment of the day?
A: “Our first look,” Alexis said. “I did not think I would be as nervous as I was but the moment I saw him, everything went away and it was just us. I will never forget it.”
Q: What personalizations did you plan for the wedding day?
A: “Will and I both love our Frenchies, Eloise and Hank,” Alexis said. “They were not able to attend the wedding, so we had acrylic drink stirrers with their heads on them ... It ended up being such a big hit with our guests.”
Q: What surprised you about planning a wedding?
A: “I feel like Anne-Claire prepared me so well from the beginning that I was not surprised by anything that came up,” Alexis said. “Wedding planning should be a fun and exciting process and she ensured that it was that for us.”
