Savannah and Wade met in 2018 in Little Rock while interning for the Circumference Group. They had both just completed their junior year of college — Wade attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas and Savannah at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. At the end of the summer, Savannah had to return to Fayetteville for Arkansas Pom Camp and Wade went home to visit family in Rogers. He asked her on a date, and they’ve been together ever since!
Wade proposed to Savannah at the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock in February 2022. They had dinner there and then headed upstairs where he had candles, flowers and photos of them set up around the mezzanine. After getting down on one knee and popping the question, they celebrated with friends and family for their engagement party.

Q & A
Q: What inspired your florals?
A: “We wanted to play into the magic of the holiday season, without it feeling like a Christmas party,” Savannah said. “We loved the idea of using primarily white flowers, mixed in with greenery, but wanted to make a statement of some sort… this combination of colors gave a nod to the holidays, while also giving us the timeless look we wanted.”
Q: How did you customize your wedding?
A: “For our out-of-town guests, we made hotel welcome boxes that featured our favorite snacks, along with local things to do around Little Rock,” Savannah said. “I also gifted each of my wedding party custom earrings by local designer Neely Phelan.”

Savannah was a cheerleader at UA, and performed a cheer routine with her bridesmaids for her guests at the reception.

Guests were given an ornament with the couple’s wedding date on it as their wedding favor.

The couple had a custom sketch of the Little Rock skyline made and used it as the liner of their wedding invitation envelopes.
